Umsida.ac.id – (27/1) Universitas Muhammadiyah Sidoarjo (Umsida) has expanded its wings to the international arena. The Dean of the Faculty of Tarbiyah and Muamalah Dr Istikomah M Ag along with the Head of the Department of Education of Madrasah Ibtidaiyah (PGMI) Nurdyansyah, Head of Islamic Religious Education (PAI) Imam Fauzi, Lc M Pd and lecturer English Education Dr. Wahyu Taufiq spoke at the Inter-Muslim Seminar and Education in the Archipelago held at Sultan Zainal Abidin University, Malaysia.The event was held to realize the cooperation program between Sultan Zainal Abidin University (UniSZA) and Umsida in the form of international Seminars, Student Exchange, Join Research, Lecture Exchage and Examination guides. In the event, delegates from Umsida presented very interesting material. Being the first speaker, Dean of the Tarbiyah and Muamalah Faculties, Dr Istikomah M Ag discussed about Homeschooling Effectiveness in planting Islamic value children. “With the diversity of educational institutions, the presence of Homescooling Education Institutions has become one of the fresh air for the world of Islamic education in Indonesia as an alternative answer for the anxiety of parents who are not satisfied with formal education,” Istikomah said.Furthermore, in the event Nurdyansyah presented the material about Media Design Innovation Using Computer Application Teaching With Scientific Approach and continued by Imam Fauzi, Lc M Pd with material about Nahwu’s Religion and Its Impact on Ulama’s Differences.
The warm-up event was then filled by Dr Noor Hafizi bin Yusof Chair of the Center for the Study of Al-Quran and Al Sunnah from UniSZA with the theme of the Characteristics of Faith Al Tabarii and his expertise in the Al-Quraan and Qiraat Fields which was later filled by Dr Wahyu Taufiq of Umsida with the theme The Effect Of Word Webbing For Teaching WritingAt the end of the session the head of the UniSZA Syarah Study Center Hasanuldin bin Mohd explained about the Explanation of the Book Literature Manuscript in the Malaysian State Library Based on Islamic Discipline. Furthermore, the UniSZA Dean of the Faculty of Islamic Studies did not forget to remind about the importance of students being given enlightenment of knowledge through their sources, namely Al-Quran, considering the impact of current technological developments causing many shifting cultures and Islamic cultures to disappear.
